Plan your special event with us!

We love having groups plan special events with us! There are so many options for you to plan from. As we are partners with Kansas City Parks and Recreation, we have some great spaces for you to use. There are two ways to celebrate with us.

Ride during regular public operating hours.

Share the train with public riders on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Purchase a multi-ride ticket and present it to the train conductor, along with a count of your guests. No additional charges or reservation required.

Charter the train for a private event.

Reservations required. Call 816-541-9834 to book now!

For $95 per hour, enjoy exclusive use of the train for your party. Train will make 2-lap runs continuously. Special event charters are available May through October during daylight hours Monday-Friday (excluding holidays).

Reserve Indoor Space!

Bring your own tables, chairs, canopies and other party necessities and set up in the common areas of the park.

No reservations needed. Picnic tables are available on a first come/first served basis.

Have your cake and ice cream in air-conditioned comfort. Tables and chairs are provided.

Include Ice Skating!

Include ice skating at the Line Creek Ice Arena and enjoy skate rental, party room use, and soft drink and ice cream cup.

Available during public skating times.

Reservations required

(schedule at least 1 week in advance)

$150 for up to 10 skaters.

Additional skaters $15 each.
